   Landscape

The surrounding countryside to Kohala is beautiful and varied and not hard for the beginner rider. The Kunda river passes through the land belonging to the manor and provides for attractive riverside scenery.

The group leader

Anne-Liis is known for her many years of experience with horses and horse riding. This experience has come from training and active, competitive riding. Kohala Manor has given her the responsibility of caring for our horses and taking riding tours to Anne-Liis. You too can enjoy riding on calm and well-trained horses under the tutelage of Anne-Liis.

Packages

One-hour riding tour, comprising:

Familiarisation with horses, equipment. Instruction about horses and about rider-horse communication. Training takes place in the manor's parkland and the surrounding countryside. A one-hour riding course is recommended for those without any riding experience, before embarking on longer rides in the countryside.

Two-hour countryside ride in woods on a marked path.

Recommended for groups comprising 2-8 persons. The price includes the group leader, a horse and all the necessary equipment. The tour starts in the Manor parkland, passes by Kohala's water-mill ruins, stops by the dam of the ruins, and ends up in the parkland again.

Half-day tour

Recommended for groups comprising 4-8 persons. The price includes the group leader, a horse and all the necessary equipment. During the riding tour we observe beautiful and interesting facets of nature. The tour prices includes a picnic, which we enjoy by the ruins of the water mill.

   One-day riding tour

Recommended for groups comprising 4-8 persons. The price includes the group leader, a horse and all the necessary equipment. Tour route: From Kohala to Toolse citadel by the sea (the oldest citadel in Estonia), where we stop for a picnic. The tour then continues to Lammasmäe (the oldest settlement in Estonia), where a sauna and lunch will await us. You can also have a swim after the sauna. The journey ends with our arrival back at Kohala Manor, where we all have coffee together.
